Combined UNGAP & NordicPOP hands-on Training School

This training school shall introduce a range of state-of-the-art analytical techniques for characterization of advanced drug delivery systems. The training school will include lectures by leading scientists on the theory and working principles of spectroscopic techniques such as Raman spectroscopy and coherent anti-stokes Raman, small-angle X-ray scattering, surface plasmon resonance spectroscopy, and animal nuclear imaging. The focus will be on applying these techniques for characterizing emerging nanotechnology-based oral drug delivery systems such as drug nanocrystals, liposomes, solid-lipid nanoparticles and polymeric nanoparticles.
