Researchers from two of the Nordic POP universities met for networking in Kuopio
Researchers from two of the “Nordic POP universities”, University of Eastern Finland and Uppsala University, met in the three-day internal networking event on 27–29 August 2019 in Kuopio.
Scientific presentations and brainstorming sessions were meant to yield new ideas on collaborative research in the fields of biopharmacy, pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmaceutical technology, and strengthen the already well-set relationship within the Nordic POP cooperation and mobility.
The joint meeting was organized by Head of School, Professor Jarkko Ketolainen and Adjunct Professor Maija Lahtela-Kakkonen from the School of Pharmacy, University of Eastern Finland. They hosted visiting group from the Department of Pharmacy, Uppsala University was led by Associate Professor Christel Bergström.
