"Multicomponent Drugs: co-crystals, co-amorphous & deep eutectic systems" Special Issue
The Special Issue shall collect contributions on poorly soluble drugs suited to enable their oral administration through all kinds of multicomponent systems such as co-crystals, co-amorphous and deep eutectic systems. It aims to foster a better understanding of differences and similarities, as well as general advantages and disadvantages of the aforementioned systems.Case studies of pharmaceutical relevance are highly welcome. Furthermore, papers promoting mechanistic understanding and sketching strategies for experimental proof and /or modelling approaches on how to best study multicomponent drug materials in a meaningful way are in the very focus of this thematic issue.
